Inspired by the Roman nobility, is usually accomplished with brocade, damask and wool fabrics, but also with shantung/watered silk, that give brilliance and solemnity.
The wide fitting, circular in shape, and and the greater amount of fabric used for its realization, makes the chasuble rich, so we tend to balance the pattern with gold agremano.
